Android overview

Currently I am learning Android app development and I am starting to learn how to use libraries. My aim before the end of this semester is to build one app that displays soccer results all around the world. For that I need to learn how to build adapters and properly use the android volley for requesting data from the server. I have to learn to use the adapter as quickly as possible before anything else. From there on I can move on to fetching data from the server and displaying that data appropriately in the User Interface.
